BioShe gave me my one way ticket to never look back; I took it and ran with it as far as I could. She told me to never look back no matter how hard it was. She tried to encourage me to run fast in the night, to not get caught by anyone. My lungs hurt and my heart ached. The rain froze my skin, making it more painful to continue running.
'Ka-san...why?' is all I could ask myself. She couldn't stand to watch me suffer anymore; she wanted the best for me. She told me I deserve the best, that no one should be able to stand in my way.
When I finally reached the train station, I opened the letter with my 'one-way ticket' to find a letter tucked into it. It was a letter from her. It told me everything I needed to know and where to go. I couldn't go back now, it was too late for her. The hot tears burned my frozen cheeks as I fell to my knees. The stinging pain was nothing compared to my heart ripping apart.
She loved me too much; my heart was falling out of my chest. I couldn't take the pain; I had to keep going. This is what she wants for me; I promised to never look back, but it's so painful. She's to scared to leave him so she gives me the better life. I picked my aching body off the concrete and ran onto the train I was supposed to get on. I followed her directions, bringing me to this school.
I was alone now, with only the few belonging's she packed me. I looked up at the building and held back the tears. They can't see me cry. I wont let them. My shakey hand opened the door to be greeted by another male. I had to be brave now. I'll be her soldier, fighting to come back for her. I'll bring her, her lost wings that he ripped from her scared back.
"Point me to the admissions office, please." My voice was bolder then before; the fake smile made my cheeks ache. I rarely smiled; they weren't used to that so it was painful everytime unless I was with her. No one know's the true meaning of a mother-and-son love until they've been through what we've been through. She deserves better; I'll send her letters to the place she told me to so he can't steal them away.
But the letter's stopped comming. That's when I knew she was in a better place. I'll continue on just for you. I'll be your brave little soldier, your little Bou. Saitou Kazuno will no longer be known to these people.
